Why Does Concrete Sink?

Voids under concrete slabs can cause concrete to sink, slope, and eventually, crack. Whether you have a sinking porch, sidewalk, driveway, or garage, we have a solution! Filling voids under concrete with PolyPier is a permanent solution for your uneven, sinking concrete.

Concrete sinks and settles if the supporting soil is weak or prone to compression. Concrete will also sink when supporting soil is washed away, leaving voids beneath the slab. When the weight of the slab is no longer being supported by the soil underneath, the concrete slab will sink or crack, depending on the amount of pressure it is under.

Fix Sinking Concrete by Lifting and Filling Voids Under Concrete.

We use an industry leading, high-density polyurethane foam to fix sinking concrete. PolyPier is a state-of-the-art product, engineered to permanently raise and level sinking concrete. In order to fill existing voids and raise the concrete, we will drill small holes through the concrete.

Once the holes are drilled, we will inject the foam beneath the concrete. The foam moves and expands, lifting the concrete, while also filling voids under the concrete along the way.

Why PolyPier?

We choose PolyPier, an ECP Product, for our concrete leveling projects because it is a thoroughly tried and tested product. It has become the industry’s leading, environmentally responsible, moisture tolerant and resistant, and minimally invasive concrete leveling process.

Filling voids under concrete will help level and stabilize your concrete slabs for years to come. Not to mention reducing the chance for tripping hazards caused by uneven concrete, on sidewalks, driveways, and garages. Need Help with sinking concrete on your property?
